The Carter Snyder Quintet @ Breitenbach Winery

In the late 80s, Jeff Beitzel put together a coalition of like-minds to record his rapidly growing catalog. Musicians who contributed to Beitzel’s bumper crop of original music over the years are numerous and notable. Alguire joined the cause in 1993 and continues to serve as Beitzel’s principal coconspirator. Veteran reedmen, Eric Snyder and Greg Carter became recording and performance regulars too. The core unit of Beitzel, Alguire, Snyder and Carter has generated five albums worth of new material every year for the past three years. That pace shows no signs of stopping.
